General Information
Founded in 1965, The Circle is the student newspaper of Marist College. Published weekly on Thursday, the newspaper serves the college community and has a circulation of 2,000.
In addition to news, sports and entertainment coverage of events both on and off the Marist campus, The Circle also publishes special sections, including photo spreads and feature inserts.
The Circle is fully staffed by undergraduate Marist students. The paper is a useful tool for students to gain valuable newspaper experience before graduation.
In 2003, The Circle underwent a complete redesign, adopting professional publishing software and evolving into a full-sized broadsheet newspaper.
The Circle, driven by undergraduates, is editorially independent; the editorial board has final say over all printed content. All the members of the Marist community are welcome to join the staff and contribute to the publication.
