That's it ... I'm going on a hunger strike

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like they have to take out a loan whenever they want to go to the Cabaret for a late-night snack? Am I the only one who feels like blowing the rape whistle their mom makes them carry whenever they get to the check-out line? I'm sorry, but five dollars for a salad is unacceptable. What, are they mocking us?
I realize that as Marist College students, we are fortunate to get all of the food options that we do, because a lot of students who attend other colleges aren't as lucky. And in all honesty, I have no business going to the Cabaret at all. I'm on the Platinum Dining Plan, which allows me to enter the cafeteria as many times as I want. I can have three breakfasts, five lunches, two dinners, whatever. And that's all fine and dandy Monday through Friday. But oh man, when Saturday and Sunday come around, forget it.
The Marist College cafeteria is run on the weekends like they want us to go home. However, I live six hours away, so for me, that's not an option. Those of us who stay for the weekends have to put up with the considerably less delectable dining choices, and limited cafeteria hours. Open 11:00-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-6:00 p.m.? Is that a joke? Well, I'm not laughing.
I'm pretty sure that every single student on campus doesn't sleep in until 11:00 a.m. on
Saturdays and Sundays. We want breakfast. And I'd also like to add, on a personal note, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this, I'd really like the rainbow sprinkles to be out more often. So, until the Cabaret's prices are lowered, the dining hall's hours on the weekends are extended, and the rainbow sprinkles are put out more frequently, I'm going on a hunger strike. I'll let you know how it goes.
