Victoria's Secret put the sex back in "Sex and the City" last Wednesday night.
America's hottest lingerie retailer staged the infamously risqué and long awaited Victoria's Secret fashion show at the Lexington Avenue Armory in Manhattan after a two-year hiatus.
The annual show was cast aside by wary networks after Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction debacle during the 2004 Superbowl half-time show (Victoria's Secret isn't exactly known for its modest clothing).
Revered runway vixens including Tyra Banks, Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell and new mom Heidi Klum ushered in a provocative new era of sex appeal. They showcased Vicci's classic naughty elf attire and elaborate feathered angel wings, as well as innovative new intimates inspired by holiday toys, candies and cocktails.
Highlights were a light-up, Swarovski crystal-beaded bra and matching feathered wings modeled by the surprisingly sylphlike Klum, while hubby Seal sang his hit, "Crazy." Other eye-opening pieces included a crystal-encrusted fishnet thong and panties with faux-cupcake frosting ornamentation.
Unlike the stone-faced skeletons that usually carry couture down the runway, the Victoria's Secret models beamed as they emerged from a gigantic glittery gift box and strutted past giant Christmas ornaments, candy canes, and teddy bears. (If you had abs like Heidi Klum, you'd smile too.)
They even lip-synched to the music, which included a live performance by Ricky Martin, recorded Christmas carols and Aaron Carter's syrupy "I Want Candy."
Those who weren't lucky enough to join Russell Simmons, Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams and Nicky Hilton to gawk at the scantily clad, long-legged beauties live can catch the Christmas-themed show Dec. 6 on CBS.

Doll clothes aren't just for Barbie anymore.
Mattel has introduced Barbie Luxe, a line of fashionable, up-scale clothing and accessories aimed at a more mature market: older female fashionistas, from teens to thirty-somethings.
