The Duquesne Dukes held the Marist Red Foxes to a mere 189 total offensive yards, delivering a crushing 40-10 blow to the Foxes record and confidence Saturday at Rooney Field in Pittsburgh, PA and extending its MAAC win streak to 39 games. The Dukes racked up 467 yards of total offense in a dazzling aerial attack as they advanced to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

The women's soccer team's second half struggles continued as they were downed 2-0 by the Canisius Golden Griffins on Sunday. The Red Foxes out-shot Canisius 7-3 in a first half that saw Marist hit the cross bar 7 times but relinquished 2 second half goals in the loss.
A first place finish in last Tuesday's warm up meet with Iona and Manhattan College has the Red Foxes confident going into this Friday's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships at Van Cortlandt Park. The results of last Tuesday's meet were not significant, but it gave Marist some practice on the same course that will be hosting its biggest meet thus far this season.
A lone doubles victory was the only statistical bright spot this weekend for Marist men's tennis at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Men's Regional Championships. Seniors Pedro Genovese and Federico Rolon marched past their first round doubles opponents from the University of Connecticut, Ben Goldstein and Joe Schueler, 8-5 Friday.
