During the campus pause, some students came up with some unexpected ways to keep themselves entertained. On April 7, someone stole one of the Lowell Thomas Media Center golf carts and took it on a brief joy ride. The cart was eventually abandoned in Lower Fulton.

On April 4, a minor hit and run occurred in the St. Anne’s parking lot. A student returned to her car and found that someone had damaged the rear of the vehicle. Marist Security contacted police to help the student file a report but there were no cameras in the parking lot to capture the incident. “It’s all very frustrating,” the student said. “There was no note and since there’s no evidence my insurance rate might increase.”

Within the past two weeks, there were three separate drug violations on three different dates; one in Sheahan Hall on March 29, one in Upper Fulton on April 3 and one in Leo Hall on April 5.

A bicycle was reported stolen at Lavelle Hall on March 31, and a fake drivers license was found in a wallet on April 1.

According to Title IX, a student reported a sexual assault on campus on April 2.
