Campus Security Update: Stolen License Plate, Criminal Mischief and Title IX

On April 29, there was a report of larceny in Champagnat when a student left a Bose Bluetooth speaker out and returned to find it stolen. The speaker was later recovered, and the culprit was referred to judicial review.

On April 30, campus security was informed by the Title IX office of an act of dating violence that occurred in Fontaine.

On May 1, there was an alcohol violation when students were found playing beer pong in Foy, resulting in judicial referral.

On May 3, a case of forgery was reported when a fake ID was found in a lost wallet in Donnelly. The owner was referred to judicial review.

On May 3, Marist Security was informed by the Title IX office of a report of dating violence that had occurred on October 15th, 2020.

On May 5, there was a report of criminal mischief after someone had broken the exit signs in Midrise.

On May 6, an act of larceny occurred when a license plate was stolen from a student’s car in the Donnelly parking lot.

On May 7, Security witnessed an act of larceny when a student was seen carrying a campus garbage can up East Cedar Street.
