In the early morning of Sept. 16, a student broke into a construction trailer on the Dyson Center property. The Poughkeepsie Police Department was notified and given video evidence of the student in the compound. No further information has been given.

An intimidation hate crime that occurred in November 2022 was officially followed up by Security last week, as the department was just informed of the specific details, including the statements made to the victim. The case is under judicial referral and being observed under Title IX.

Two sexual assault cases were reported to the Office of Security, one on Sept. 18 in Sheahan Hall and one on Sept. 22 in Champagnat Hall. No further information was given as both are currently being handled under Title IX.

Midrise Hall was relatively busy with criminal mischief. An incident of harassment occurred on Sept. 17 involving an intoxicated student who pushed another student against a wall. The case has been turned over to student conduct and is under judicial referral.

Another incident involved a case from Sept. 12, which was solved in the last week. A student in Midrise who had stolen two laundry bags on two separate occasions was finally identified, and the bags were returned to their owners.

Additionally, two light covers in Midrise were broken by students on Sept. 15. The students, number not specified, were identified, and the case has been closed.

On Sept. 15, students in Upper West Cedar were caught with alcohol. The case is currently under judicial referral.

On Sept. 20 and 21, two fake identifications were found. One was discovered in a lost wallet returned to Donnelly, while the other was found in Marian Hall.
