The Marist Student Programming Council hosted the annual spring concert featuring Saint Motel and Baby Tate on March 21.

Students began lining up at 5 p.m. in cold temperatures to catch the show. According to SPC, 750 tickets were sold for the show. Atlanta-based rapper and songwriter Baby Tate opened the show with a 45-minute set, with DJ Sky Jetta performing some of her hits “Hey Mickey!” and “I am.”

Alternative indie group Saint Motel, who headlined the show, played a mix of their newer selections and their most popular track, “My Type.” The group's merchandise was available for purchase. Prior to the show, both Baby Tate and Saint Motel met with Marist students and the executive board of SPC.

“It was very enjoyable for us to have two completely different artists perform in McCann on the same night. It gave us a much wider audience, and many people stayed for both,” said Marist SPC President Kait Dugan ‘25. “The audience lit up when songs from our later childhood/teenage years were played by Saint Motel, and everyone loved how electric Baby Tate's act was.”

Following the concert, Baby Tate reposted several videos and images from the show on her social media accounts, and Saint Motel posted a video on its Instagram page thanking Marist for hosting the show.

One student, Sadie Cook ‘26, was in attendance of the show and says that “there were a few less people than we were expecting, but the atmosphere was amazing, and so were the performers.”
